Die Kenneth Spencer Story
Re-issue of LP-Album Columbia SMC 83 882. Possibly re-released with that cat.-nr. in 1966-67.

The Crickets

Something Old, Something New, Something Blue, Something Else !
Sonny Curtis is second left, and presumably, that'll be Jerry Allison fourth from left, though he doesn't look much like Jerry Allison in this picture!!!

But which one is Gerry Naylor and which one is Glen Harding? I'm sure someone will know!

Update, L to R: Glen Harding, keyboard/piano and Fender-Rhodes piano bass; Sonny Curtis, guitar; Gerry Naylor, vocals; Jerry Allison, drums

Wanda Jackson
Would there have been a turquoise label version of this, or would it have been issued straight onto a rainbow label?

It's OK To Say No!
Oddly, the label of the Canadian pressing does not have the ! in the title

Hogwash
Track A1 "I Love You Miss Ogyny" would probably take a lot of flak today

Humble Pie

Performance - Rockin' The Fillmore
Before this album got the number, SP-3506 was originally meant for Cat Stevens' Teaser And The Firecat before that one got released as SP-4313. (This, from first-pressings of Mr. Stevens' "Moon Shadow" single.)

Wow
this is, or should be a stereo copy, see the merkin columbia label stereo lp cat# quoted parenthetically on the cbs label. see also the boxed advice across the bottom rear of the cbs record's card sleeve.

cbs moved from prefixes bpg & sbpg to no prefix & s, to no prefix (almost all releases ''stereo playable mono'') with mono stated for relatively rare reissues of mono-only historic recordings; they later reintroduced an s prefix, somewhat erratically - i'm not sure why - with m as a prefix on historic mono-only recordings, also somewhat erratically. . .

then iiuc, all cbs european pressing moved to holland.
philmh almost certainly has the date engraved on his heart, brain, hard disk, or possibly microchip(s). . .

Wow
Is this a Mono copy? There was also a UK release S63271 with a 'stereo' logo on the label.

Gordon Lightfoot

Early Lightfoot
not connected with the 1971 canadian ame records album of the same title, which collected ten tracks recorded by lightfoot in nashville usa 1962-3 for the canadian chateau label and released on uk singles variously by decca and fontana, equally variously as by gord lightfoot and gordie lightfoot - if at all.
